Island Job - Parry Sound, Ontario
We called this the "Island Job!"
It was a referral from a previous customer whose cottage we had previously exterior renovated. His neighbour ,on the island, asked us to do his cottage.
The siding is vinyl, the shake is a contrasting colour, and the unique part of this house is the steel soffit, made to look like a wood grain, by the company Lux.
We had to load all materials (and the crew) onto a boat to transport to the job site.

While Parry Sound is not in our immediate home base area, we're always happy to provide exterior renovation services to cottage and home owners in the Parry Sound and Point au Baril area. We've worked on several exterior renovation projects in this area, and often they have special challenges including the transportation of both supplies and our crew, and lodgings for our great employees.
Parry Sound, while home to about 10,000 residents, during the warmer months, it becomes a favourite destination for thousands and thousands of people, especially from Southern Ontario, who have cottages, or enjoy the campgrounds and other outdoor recreation available to them in the area. The area is home to several Provincial Parks, Nature Reserves, and is also a jumping off point for sailing enthusiasts who want to explore Georgian Bay, the "30,000 Islands," and other waterways in the area.
One of our favourite "notable people" born in Parry Sound is Bobby Orr. Interestingly, Parry Sound has produced quite a number of notable professional hockey players over the years.
Of course, we love working on exterior renovation projects in the area and it's always a privilege to spend time there!
